OK - You won!---Does that mean that child can be disfellowshipped
Only if the child wears its diapers too tight or commits acts unbecoming of a baby. 😜
the youngest reference i have come across is in the 1992 watchtower (march 1st page 27) - “in the summer of 1946, i was baptized at the international convention in cleveland, ohio.
although i was only six years of age…”.
i would like to find more examples of this, particularly of examples in more recent times.

why do some people who were trapped in the wt and wake up after much frustration and anger that they were lied to, still believe in the bible god who allowed them and their families to be deceived and trapped for years.
i have an acquaintance who is a lot older than me and for the past 30 years he has been out of the watchtower religion and is sola scriptura.
sola scriptura is a theological doctrine that posits the christian scriptures as the sole infallible source of authority for christian faith and practice.
Maybe they can only handle one major change at a time.
i can't believe it.
it doesnt even seem real.
my mother told me that the world would gone by the time i was 25. .
38...well boo - hoo for you (😜). It could be worse. I was told I’d never graduate from high school but I did back in the year 1975. Then they said my son who just turned 39 would never graduate from high school but he did in the year 2000. We spent today with my 89 year old JW mother in law who Pioneered for 40 years and has been in assisted living with dementia for the past 5 years. Even so, I’m selfishly glad they were so wrong because I disregarded their advice about preparing for a future in this system and retired early with a pension and IRAs etc and tomorrow is our 40th anniversary and we’re going to spend it with our 3 grandchildren who are the best thing that ever happened. Don’t worry about the JWs and what could have been. Focus on what you’re grateful for and what you want for the future.

I knew a sister who was a few weeks pregnant when she was baptized so I'm guessing her child must have been the youngest.
library.
books & brochures.
who are doing jehovah’s will today?.
It's an attempt to legitimize themselves and make what they are doing seem more important that it is. A window washer feels much more important givin a 6 minute number #2 Bible reading if he's wearing a 3 piece suit.
i know there are a lot of 'wise heads' out there on this forum - so i would appreciate your suggestions.. several years ago, i studied with a guy, whose wife is a jw.
(he had studied with several elders before i came along).
the study went reasonably well.
As a former JW you may still have a bit of the left over notion that when it comes to religion, it's your duty to enlighten everyone and save them from themselves. I'd let him come to you if he has any questions or if he wants to discuss religion. If he does come to you, let him know that he doesn't get to decide what information can or can't be discussed.
i picked a copy up at a flea market and can not remember what pages were supposed to be cut out.
.
I believe this was a typical 96 page JW publication so pages 1 through 96 should have been cut out.
a letter from a jw arrived the other day.
nothing remarkable.
i wondered why i was sent the letter?
I'd be tempted to write back and let the person know that you understand the purpose of her letter but in doing so she has left herself open to an invasion of her privacy and security.
Explain to her that with a few key strokes, you were able to find out the names of her family members, what kind of vehicle she drives, where she lives and that she is planning a wedding. Include a photo or two of what you saw on Google Maps. Tell her that her that she has nothing to worry about as far as you are concerned but that you wanted to let her know it made you feel a bit creepy to receive such a letter from a complete stranger and that by sending such a letter she is assuming that you and others aren't as enlightened as thinks she is. Advise her that if she insists on sending these letters out, to at least stop giving her personal information .
i would like to get some feed back from pomo's who's spouse is still pimi.
since myself and our son's left the jw cult.
my wife has been m.i.a has a mom and a wife.
Thinking about how awful she must feel in this situation will help you feel lest resentful toward her. Good families are hard to come by. Don't be too ready to give up on what you have....err on the side of kindness.
3 alarm fire called at watchtower farms about 2.5 hours ago.
no details yet..
At first officials didn't suspect arson until they realized the fire originated in the document shredding room.
